Orbits is a galaxy management game where the player attempts to create stable galaxies with different types of systems, planets, and moons.

Each level presents the player with a sun surrounded by a number of orbits, a number of planets, and a number of moons. Each orbit has a temperature band that only allows planets of that temperature. Each planet has its own characteristics including size, shape, and temperature. Moons modify these planet characteristics making them hotter or colder, larger or smaller, or change shape.  Each level also has its own requirements, such as limiting the number of moons per planet, or forcing a capacity of planets onto each orbit. Each level has a message to the player to act as a tutorial, and add some levity to the game once tutorials are finished.
